Joshua Stone has been creating art his entire life. At age 6 he received his first award at a city competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma followed by many more awards at both state and national competitions. In the early 1990's Joshua became very involved in the street graffiti movement, painting across the U.S. with many well know artists of the time. This in turn led to the creation of dozens of commissioned murals across the southwest.
In 2000 Joshua began creating graffiti works for the gallery setting and has continued to evolve his work ever since. He has had solo shows in New York City, Dallas, Denver and Los Angeles as well as participated in numerous group showings. In 2009 he was selected to be one of the prestigious Dallas Nine by D Magazine with eight other top artists in the DFW metroplex. His work has been mentioned in many press articles, magazines and television shows. Currently Joshua is represented by Ross Akard Gallery in Dallas, TX and also shows at Fusion Gallery in Plano, TX.
